Day 2

Our flight was long and uneventful. I slept off and on but Rob stayed awake all night watching movies. We hit the ground running in London since we only have one day here.

(Note from Rob: We got this great picture taken of us before we rode the underground "tube." Unfortunately, mom got a little carried away with the Red-Eye Reduction tool in iPhoto.)

We saw all the usual tourist sites in London.

Big Ben

I especially loved this picture of little school girls.

This sign is supposed to help Americans adjust to cars being driven on the wrong side of the road.

We are staying at the Generator Hostel.

It's a happening place!

Tomorrow it's Wednesday, must be Belgium.

  1. Is Rob, with his black eye, wearing the same shirt - all the way from packing to Big Ben? That must be some sort of record...Clint

  2. Clint, yes he is! That's what I was going to say. It's crazy that you were in your kitchen yesterday afternoon in that same outfit and now it (and you) are in London! Did the belt make it too? :)

When I first looked at the blog I immediately saw the black eye and freaked out haha. I can relate to how the red eye corrector can quickly mess up a picture.

So two questions: What movies did you watch and is that a fake sleeping picture?

Glad that your flight was uneventful, watching Lost has made me paranoid! Looks like the weather was nice too.

  4. No, it is a real sleeping picture. On the plane I watched Kill Bill 1&2 and Enemy of the State. Lost is awesome.
