Oh my goodness! A lady was making crepes out in front of a restaurant. I asked for chocolate melted in mine :)
When we made our way over to the Louvre, Starbucks was the first thing we saw. When we walked inside, Megan teared up, saying, "Oh, it smells like home!"
Meg said this photo should be entitled "Where's Waldo". Can you find me? This is the large group of people looking at the Mona Lisa. It's on the back wall, hanging behind glass.
Here she is!
Venus del Milo
Do you notice any one missing in this subway shot? Megan. She is on the opposite side of the tracks. As we were getting on our train, she was the last one trying to get in, and the doors closed on her. Clay yelled through the glass at her stricken face, "Stay right there, we will come back to you." So, as soon as our train stopped at the next stop, off we jumped off and started running upstairs, downstairs...hopped on a train back, and there she was sitting forlornly on the other side of the track. More up and down stairs, and we were reunited. Sheesh, glad it wasn't me, I would have freaked!
Next stop, Notre Dame. Mass was just beginning when we arrived. The organ was being played and it was amazing! The priest started the service, all in Latin, of course! It was great.
Ok, that last picture is one that I hope you are going to frame! How beautiful is that? Jana...how badly did you feel your sore legs when you were racing back to get to your lost Megan? I'll bet those legs were moving as fast as they ever have!! I am so glad that you are having such a great time, and, thank you for sharing this with all of us!
